A screenshot of an Instagram photo captures your screen, not the picture: it is cropped to your display, compressed a second time, and carries whatever interface elements were on top of it. This tool fetches the actual image file instead.
Instagram stores feed photos at up to 1080 pixels on the long edge. That is the ceiling — no tool can recover detail beyond what was uploaded, and any site claiming to "enhance" or "upscale to 4K" is inventing pixels rather than recovering them.
Posts with more than one image are albums. Paste them here and every picture appears as its own row, or use the album page to grab them as a single ZIP.

Questions
What size will the photo be?
Usually 1080 pixels on the long edge, which is what Instagram stores. The exact dimensions are shown next to each file before you download.
Can I get a higher resolution than 1080px?
No. Instagram does not keep a larger copy, so there is nothing higher to fetch. Upscaling would only invent detail.
Why do I get several images from one link?
The post is a carousel. Every slide is fetched separately so you can pick the one you want.
Is the EXIF data included?
Instagram strips camera metadata on upload, so the file you receive has none.
