Instagram Reels Downloader
Full-resolution MP4, audio intact, nothing added to the frame.
Reels are delivered by Instagram as ordinary MP4 files. This tool reads the address of the file behind a public Reel and streams it to you unchanged — the same bitrate, the same dimensions, the same audio track that plays in the app.
Two things it deliberately does not do: it does not stamp a watermark onto the video, and it does not re-encode. Re-encoding is how most downloaders quietly turn a crisp 1080×1920 clip into a soft one. The file you receive is byte-for-byte what Instagram served.
If you only want the sound from a Reel rather than the picture, the audio extractor is a better fit.
How it works
- 01 Copy the Reel link Open the Reel, tap the paper-plane share icon, then Copy link. On desktop, copy the address from the browser bar.
- 02 Paste it above Drop the link into the box. Fetching starts on paste, so there is nothing else to press.
- 03 Download the MP4 Press Download. On Android it goes to your Downloads folder; on iPhone it goes to Files.
Questions
Will the video have a watermark?
Nothing is added by this tool. If the creator burned a watermark into the video before uploading, that is part of the picture and cannot be removed.
What resolution do I get?
Whatever the creator uploaded, most commonly 1080×1920. The file is not re-encoded, so nothing is lost in the process.
Does the audio come with it?
Yes. The MP4 contains the original audio track. For an MP3 of just the sound, use the audio extractor.
Why does a link sometimes fail?
The three usual causes are a private account, a deleted Reel, or a link that was copied incompletely. Recopy the link and try once more.
Can I download someone else's Reel and repost it?
Saving for personal viewing is one thing; republishing someone's work as your own is another, and it is their copyright. Ask, or credit clearly.
