Instagram Reel to MP3

Just the sound, separated from the picture.

Public posts only. Nothing is stored on our servers.

Sometimes the sound is the point — a voice note worth keeping, a track you want to identify, a clip for editing elsewhere. This page separates the audio track from a public reel and hands it back on its own.

The extraction is a straight demux and encode: no filtering, no normalisation, no loudness adjustment. What went in is what comes out, minus the picture.

Music is the obvious caution. A track in a reel usually belongs to a label or an artist, and extracting it does not transfer any rights to you. Keeping a clip for yourself is one thing; publishing it, or using it commercially, needs a licence.

Questions

What quality is the audio?

Extraction is done at 192 kbps, which is at or above the quality of the audio embedded in the source video.

Can I use the audio in my own video?

That depends entirely on who owns it. Licensed music in a reel belongs to the rights holder, and extracting it does not grant you a licence.

Why does this take longer than a video download?

The audio has to be separated and encoded rather than simply passed through, which takes a few seconds of processing.

Can I get the audio without the video too?

That is exactly what this page does — only the audio track is returned.
