Privacy policy

The short version: no account, no profile, no selling of data.

What is collected

• Links you submit. Held briefly in a cache so repeat requests are fast, then discarded. They are not linked to you.
• Technical request data. IP address and timestamp, used for rate limiting and abuse prevention, kept short-term.
• Aggregate counts. Daily totals of requests and downloads, with no personal identifiers attached.

What is not collected

• No Instagram credentials — you are never asked to log in, and you should never enter Instagram credentials into any downloader.
• No copies of the media you download.
• No account, name or email unless you contact us directly.

Cookies

A session cookie is used for the administrator login. Ordinary visitors are not tracked with cookies by the site itself. Any advertising or analytics code configured by the operator may set its own cookies and is governed by that provider's policy.

Third parties

Requests pass through hosting and network providers who process traffic on our behalf. Media is fetched from Instagram's servers, which sees the request as it would any other.
